2009 Ardmore HS Track Meet

April 24, 2009

Hot and windy spring weather for this meet.

Times and competition were tough but we had several season and personal bests.

The girls 400m Relay ran a season best 52.56 for 5th place. Rasheed set a personal best in the discus with a toss of 131' 5".

Several team members missed due to sickness, weddings and such.

Our last tune-up meet before Regionals is Tuesday at Velma.

2009 Duncan HS Track Meet

April 17, 2009

Miranda sets another personal best in the 3200m run with a time of 12:17 to win the girls race.

Josh Howard finished 4th in the boys 3200m run (10:50) and 6th in the boys 1600m run (4:58).

3200m Relay (Miranda Claxton, Chelsea Gillum, Shay Grove, Halley Taylor) was 4th in 10:45.8

100m Dash - 6th Sydney Loggins 13.4

Another schedule update for HS team

This Friday, April 17, we will be going to Duncan rather than Muskogee.

Since the prom is on Saturday I do not want our athletes getting back after midnight as would be the case if we went to Muskogee.

The bus will leave at 6:50am Friday morning. Meet starts at 9:30am.

Schedule Changes

Seems there are always some adjustments made to the original schedule each year.

**On April 10, we are going to a meet at Tishomingo instead of the meet in Norman.

**Remember April 7 is the make-up day for the meet at Sulphur.
